Chris is the Superintendent Minister for The Colchester Circuit and joined us on 1st September 2022. She has particular responsibility for The Ark, The Well in Mile End and Castle which is in the town centre.

Church Stewards
Church stewards have been around since the 18th century when John Wesley recognised that ministers, who because of the itinerant nature of their role, were often unable to oversee every matter in church life.
|
|
The duties of current day church stewards are crucial to creating a positive experience both for the visiting local preacher or minister and the congregation on a Sunday morning. They also look after the building, deal with day to day problems that arise and attend various meetings, to name just a few of their duties.

Pastoral Group
We are a church family and as such we support and encourage each other. Our pastoral leaders are appointed to develop that general pastoral care by seeking to build up relationships and by sharing loving concern with a smaller number of friends and members.
